Companion Stairlifts
New and reconditioned stairlifts including stand-up perch models, with a free home survey.
Companion describes itself as one of the largest manufacturers and installers of stairlifts in the UK. It supplies straight and curved models plus stand-up perch stairlifts, which suit people whose knees or hips will not bend enough to sit comfortably on a standard seat — a genuinely useful option that not every supplier offers. Reconditioned stairlifts are available at a lower price than new. Every model comes with the Companion 365 plan, a 12-month warranty covering parts and labour, following a free home survey and no-obligation quote. The company states BHTA accreditation and a Feefo Platinum Trusted Service Award. Coverage excludes Northern Ireland and the Highlands and Islands.

Before you commit
- Get a written quotation. Never agree a price on the doorstep or over the phone.
- Take your time. A genuine company won't pressure you with a "today only" discount.
- Ask a family member or friend to be there for the visit if you can.
- Ask for the VAT relief form if you have a long-term illness or disability.
- You normally have 14 days to cancel an order agreed at home or online, but made-to-measure items can be an exception — get the cancellation terms in writing.
